We do stock these, but inventory level varies. These can be reordered in any quantity needed, production time is about 6 weeks. These buttons are made from ox and yak bones. (More info below the picture)

Pricing: All are $3.00 each, except the Elephant clasp, priced at $5.00 for the set.

Asian Bone Buttons

All are about 3mm (1/8 inch) thick.

The contrasting colors are actually contrasting color bone carefully inset and polished smooth.

The odd-looking thing in the middle of the bottom row is a walnut-stained two-piece elephant head clasp, sold as a set. One half has a loop, the other has a curved 'trunk' which fits through the loop.

The top right button is a fish opposite an elephant. Both have black dots for eyes.

The three left buttons in the middle row form 3 of the 8 symbols of the Astramangle, a pictogram symbolizing Good Fortune.
The left most button in the middle row is the Umbrella, symbolizing friendship and compassion.
The large round one etched in black is the Mandala, a mystical symbol first drawn in 1095 AD from the philosopher Nagarjun, the founder of Nilhism.
The oval brown and white button to the right ot the Mandala is the Shree Bachha, the symbol of knowledge. Perfect for Graduation gowns.
